The maximum size of the carry-on luggage that is allowed on airplanes is the sum of the length, height and width. Travelers who regularly fly with different airlines should opt for the carry-on 22” luggage that is universally accepted and is the safest way to travel. The standard size for carry-on luggage is 22" x 14" x 9". Once you load your bags with clothes and many other items it can become wider than the amount specified.
